Please!

We are being pushed to be sheep. To never ask. To never do our own research. About any and all topics.

Food. Such a universal thing. Such a perfect place, for the unscrupulous, to make money. By devising ways, to chemically make fake food, taste good.

Oh, the topic almost hurts, to contemplate. Because people don't think. Don't ask. Just buy and consume. It's easy. It's cheap. It.....Tastes do goood.

-head desk-

Thank you for this post! Thank you.

With luck, it will inspire people, to LOOK. To SEEK their own info. And to ACT on it. And choose to eat in a more healthy way.

Or, since you have done the looking work for them, to simply follow your advise!!!!! :-)))))) How simple, for them? :-)

Thank you, Kindred Spirit!!!!wisps of wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12995057494013633705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5885548773613247997.post-47624564078370821772019-06-18T08:50:11.096-07:002019-06-18T08:50:11.096-07:00Enjoyed your post!Enjoyed your post!Amish Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09096558111850899960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5885548773613247997.post-87563620932301567632019-06-14T18:33:36.592-07:002019-06-14T18:33:36.592-07:00What an excellent post! That has been the direction Dan and I have been working toward for most of our married life. Me longer. We have a lower income than ever before, but are also more content than ever before. It's so nice to be in contact with other bloggers who are heading in that direction too. I don't think I could fit the meat in that space. I buy my meat on sale, and get grass fed beef, when possible. After changing my diet, I no longer have aches or pains. It's mostly fruit, veggies, meat or chicken, nuts, and moderate amounts of pasta. Glad your hubby was able to enjoy some garlic bread. I love bread way too much to stop at wheat, but would have really made me think about where it comes from. We're building this little homestead so that we can feed our kids the good foods that we can't afford. The kids and I are so excited about all the goods we're growing and getting and making. It's wonderful. The more we can produce our own, and the less we have to buy will mean that we can spend a little more on the quality items. We'll get there, it's a work in progress.Jennifer Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18145919073073692987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5885548773613247997.post-29535970377226660812019-06-13T06:20:31.727-07:002019-06-13T06:20:31.727-07:00I've, actually, read this post three times and...I've, actually, read this post three times and included a link to it in my latest post. I ate all that they served. They don't allow any GMOs they live pure. I didn't have any health issues in the 17 days we were there. Just amazing. That told me a lot.Lisa at Greenbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743973292900758183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5885548773613247997.post-27589901471580428662019-06-12T13:03:11.978-07:002019-06-12T13:03:11.978-07:00Great, and timely post!

I no longer eat beef or pork but do eat chicken. Yeah, they say they are no longer fed antibiotics but wonder sometimes.

My breakfast consists of steel cut oatmeal with honey and fruit. Lunch and dinner is either fish, chicken, green salad or other vegetables. I also haven't had a cold in years. But spring usually sneeze a lot due to the pollen.

I applaud you and your husband for going the distance and staying true to your healthy future. May you both live to be a healthy 105. Heck, I've made it to 77 and am not ready to go yet!!!!!! Saundrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05442552781415793671noreply@blogger.com
